I bought a used Landrover Discovery from here earlier this year. The car had been taken in as a trade in and as a result was far older than the usual stock they have on show. The staff were incredibly helpful, they had planned to put the car on the auction block as it was not their usual field. I came to an agreed price with the condition the car was put through a fresh MOT.

When tested the result was the car needed some pricey repair work.
They stayed true to their word and completed all the work at considerable cost to themselves whilst sticking to our agreed deal. As a result they made little to no money on the sale. Iv had the car for 7 months and it’s never skipped a beat. Adams and sons is a 4 hour drive from me but I wouldn’t hesitate in going back for a car.

They put customers first and show great integrity. I highly recommend using these guys if your looking for honest people and hassle free buying.

My fuel pump packed just when I had to get a very dear friends funeral, at very short notice James and his team pulled out all the stops. They managed to get a new pump and completed the job in just a day and a half, many thanks to all of them. The major thing with this garage is that they put their customers well and truly first, excellent people and superb service again thankyou all.

What can I say except the service received from Owen and Verney (the owner) has been outstanding! I enquired about an Audi A3 Saloon Black Edition a few weeks back & visited to look. No pressure selling at all, was very chilled & we were allowed to look at the car on our own.
We then talked figures & the car was slightly to expensive. After many emails with Owen we came to a deal at a great price for what is an amazingly well spec’d car. Owen was always polite & courteous & answered all my questions throughout the process. I met Verney briefly & he was exactly the same.
Seriously if you want a really good, second hand car with amazing customer service, you must head to Adam & Sons. All the best to you and the team, A+

Can’t recommend the guys at Adams & Sons enough. From first speaking to Owen he has done nothing but help and assist with every step of the process of buying our new car. I have bought many cars over the years from some very prestige dealers but none have come close to the service provided by these guys. Thanks again and Owen, I did smile the whole way home on the 6 hour drive.

I decided to try Adams and Sons after being quoted 7 weeks delivery from a major retailer and so glad I did. Mattress is better quality for the same price and couldn't fault the service. Extremely helpful and certainly know their stuff. Supporting a local business is also a bonus. Would definitely recommend!

I recently decided to part with my old car as I have not been able to use it for a year. Verney noticed it and contacted me. We agreed to meet and talk things over, which we did. Verney told me I had underestimated what it was worth and offered me a substantial amount more. I felt he would have treated his own Grandmother with the respect and care he showed me. 100% recommend & would buy from again.

Brilliant service from start to end. Felt very strange buying a car during Covid but Adams & Sons made the experience seamless. From a Whatsapp video of the car to updates about when it was due to arrive. They noticed some changes that needed making to the car that wouldn't have become a problem for another 8/10 months (So outside of our warranty) but they changed them before delivery. You can't ask for more than that. My dad is a mechanic, my husbands best friend is a mechanic - both are very very impressed with the car and the service we have received. Car drives like a dream and we have got a lot for our money.
